Welcome to Koln Amy!
This weekend we were joined in Koln by a friend of ours from Milwaukee. Amy worked with Chad at PWC and was here on business. It was so nice to see her and we were able to spend some of Sunday with her and walk along the Rhein. We also went and had drinks on a river boat and went to a great restaurant and had Schnitzel! Amy also brought us some pictures of Will for his scrapbook. We enjoyed hanging out and Will was oh so comfy in her arms. You can tell Amy is a pro with babies because she has a niece who is just a few months older than Will. :)
Also Bob returned with Amy to Koln for work and brought Will some new cars that his dad picked out at Target. They are really cute and Will right now doesn't know what to make of them. Soon, he'll be just as much of a car fanatic as his dad. :) It is so nice to have such thoughtful friends. THANK YOU!!
Will & Phil! HAPPY BIRTHDAY PHIL!!So many people ask who Will looks like...OK really I think he has blue eyes like Chad and honestly looks like a baby! I don't think anyone really still looks like they did when they were a baby and unless you knew what someone looked like as a baby can you really tell? It's crazy...because people will also tell me that Will looks like Chad and think it will upset me...OK I don't think Chad is that bad looking folks. I think there is a little of each of us in the little guy and he looks just like WILL!
That being said, I did a bit of looking at some old baby pics of the baby I most remember. And as most people who know me know...I think he was a super cute kid (even though I really wanted him to be a girl). Now these are two pics of each of them and I think look a bit alike. Now the baby on the left turned 21 this week so the picture is a bit old! But here they are at the same age of 3.5 months. I must admit...Phil was a bit thinner than Will.
Language Lessons
I also started my German Lessons today! Lina came to the flat this morning and we spent almost 2 hours learning some German. I am taking lessons through Berlitz and the method is completely different than learning a foreign language in school. It was a very productive lesson and I am learning. I'll be taking lessons twice a week and I am really looking forward to doing my homework before the next lesson. I am glad to have something to challenge me a bit mentally. Will was also a wonderful baby and played happily on the floor and took a nap during the lesson which was wonderful since he slept until 6am, ate, and went back to sleep until 9am.
