It was nice to look through adds and get ideas about lawn furniture we might purchase in a few years when we are back in the US. Simple things make the start of the day good.

A Newspaper
Yesterday we got a local newspaper in the mail, Kolner Wochenspiegel. It was on the table this morning when I got up and it reminded me of home. As Will and I had breakfast I flipped through the ads and tried to interpret some headlines. I understood words like "basketball" which was in the caption to a picture with middle school aged girls' team photo.
