Back in Germany!

Well, we're back! We spent about 2 and a half weeks in the US over the 4th of July and enjoyed some exceptionally cool weather. It was nice to see friends and family and spend some time using our English! The time went quickly and we were a bit rushed and didn't get to spend as much time in Milwaukee as we would have liked. However, we'll be back.

Transition
We also have realized that it is harder to adjust going East! It has taken Will about a full week to finally be sleeping through the night at the right times. THANK GOD! Now maybe his parents will begin to adjust too. Travel with an active one-year-old is much more work than travel with a 3 month or 6 month old. Gone are the days of watching movies on the flight.

Should we stay or should we go?
Chad has also been asked to extend our stay in Germany a bit longer. It looks like we are going to be exploring this option and trying to decide how this will impact us both here and in the States. Thankfully no matter what we decide it will work out well! Also, this means we're open for more visitors... I've been busy planning trips for friends and family to come this fall and we still have some places we need to visit before returning to the US permanently. Who knows where we'll end up next???

It was a time of 1sts for Will:
1st Hair Cut
1st Brewers Game at Miller Park
1st Cubs Game at Wrigley Field
1st 4th of July Fireworks
1st Time walking in Lake Michigan
1st Time on a motorcycle (not moving of course)
1st Time meeting cousin Oliver
1st Wedding Reception (Congratulations Liz and Barry!)
1st Time putting his finger up Pudge's nose (Pudge was a trooper)

Some pictures from our time in the US! We didn't take many but had a nice time and Will always seemed to have someone to play with where ever we went.
