Wild Park

On Friday, Will and I ventured with our friends from Michigan (Stacy, Katie, and Emma) to the Wild Park in Colonge. It is a park filled with different kinds of goats, donkeys and deer. Most of the animals roam around the park freely, but some of the goats are kept enclosed.

Will makes a new friend
Will enjoyed the day a lot and we bought a box of food to feed the animals for only 50 cents! 50 cents provided a lot of entertainment to Will who didn't mind the goats licking his fingers. Once we ran out of food, Will went to the sidewalk and picked up an acorn. I was wondering what he was doing, but then he fed the acorn to this small goat. CRAZY! How did he know he would eat it? And then he kept going back and forth (about 10 steps to the sidewalk) and looked for another acorn and went back to the fence to feed it to his new friend. It was pretty cute. He did a great job hunting acorns in the leaves that had fallen to the ground. I was impressed with my little man!

I'm out of food but try this.
Here's another acorn for you.
We also realized where the word "Bully" comes from as we watched the larger goats lock their horns with the smaller ones to push them out of the way for food. A bit scary and made me feel sorry for the little ones!

We will have to go back again because Will had so much fun! What a great Friday!

Will is EVERYWHERE!
I haven't done the best job updating this about the little guy for awhile. He is active, walking, running, playing, climbing, and climbing. You really can't turn your head for a second or he is opening drawers to climb up on shelves or will be standing on chairs to get to the table. He scaled the dresser using the handles like a rock wall last week. He has no fear, unfortunately. Where are the days of just having him lay on a blanket and watching him roll over?

Will's Favorite List:
Song: The Witch Doctor by Alvin and the Chipmunks
Toy: Cookie Monster (he takes him to bed and holds him on his cheek)
Book: One Little Penguin and his Friends and the Very Hungry Caterpillar
Words: Dad, Mom, Car, Nein, Oh Boy, OK, Ja, Dog, Dylan (at least the D&N sound), and he is very good about signing More (thanks to dad)
Foods: Ice Cream, Apples (whole ones) Strawberries, Blue Berries, Cheese (and anything Chad is snacking on)
Tricks: Putting his toys away, putting his shapes in the box, jumping, catching and throwing his balls

Dancing King!
He's also quite the dancer still. He hears music and will stop and dance (with his feet firmly planted in one place). We love street performers in the cities that we visit. I have probably spent a small fortune tipping them. He just LOVES to stand and dance and stare at them play. They are also amused with him as well and will lean down close to him and play and he smiles and looks on in awe.

My Little Helper and Mover
Will has also mastered the technique of "stirring." He always wants to be doing what I am doing around the house. He can vacuum, wash mirrors (I spray he wipes), and scrubs the sink. I bought him a step stool that he can now carry around and look up on the counter (but can't yet reach things he shouldn't).

He's also good at moving things into his house and putting them away.
I got this in here by myself!
