Play Group Christmas Party!

Yesterday we hosted our play group Christmas Party!  We usually try to meet with this group every Wednesday and I am thankful to have other people to get together with during the week. It was fun to have people over to our new flat and Will always enjoys playing with the other little kids.  I was impressed how well he listened and behaved considering I didn't give him a ton of attention.  We had a small gift exchange and I had stuff ready for the little ones to decorate cookies.  I must say it was a busy house and I enjoyed Will's 2 hour nap when everyone left.  :)   This has been a great group and we were so excited we could host during this fun time of year.

We were also a bit sad this week as this was the last play group for Stacy, Emma and Katie as they head home to Michigan on Friday.  It seems like December was so far away, but it is here and before you know it we'll be headed back to the US for good as well.

Our toy filled living room!

Will's FAVORITE DVD: The Polar Express
I must also say that Will has a favorite DVD that he will and wants to watch in its entirety!   I love this movie so it is great that Will also does. We have both been a little under the weather the past week so it has been good for him to have some extra down time and cuddle with his mom.  His face lights up when Santa comes on and he will run and sit on the couch when I ask him if we wants to watch the Polar Express.

Our little Hider and Climber!
Will is a good little climber and we can't keep him out of our sight.  He can climb on beds, couches, tables and will even push a chair to the counter to get on top to something he might want.  He's too smart for his own good.  Today he climbed on the couch and lowered himself down the back. He was stuck in the  ledge by the window and couldn't get out. He was pretty happy looking out the window and I just let him play there while I got stuff done. :)

He also likes to hide, under the bed, in his house (not that creative) or the best place is in Chad's closet.  He thinks he is so funny playing in his dad's dress shirts.

See me in here mom?

Yep, I'm going to close the door!

Little Reader
Will is a boy of many words, sentences and phrases, I just don't understand most of them. He is clearing having a conversation with you and likes to talk and read. Yesterday, I found him sitting in the chair in his room reading his Cars book out loud. If only I could have the audio to go with this picture.
