The Stairs are so Exciting!
Will has enjoyed the days we are back in our flat! He particularly likes the stairs! He can go up with ease (except when his pant legs get in the way). We've tried several barricades, but now a large piece of cardboard is the best option. First I tried chairs, but Will figured out how to push them away. Then I locked the chairs so he couldn't move them, so he crawled under them. Now, it is the cardboard!Will's Distractions
There are a few things that can distract him and trump each other.
* Music (makes me dance, but I can whimper and dance at the same time)
* Any toy with Lights (will stop a cry and if it plays music too...double bonus)
* Stairs (I see an opening and I'll take it!)
* The refrigerator (whatever is on the first 2 shelves is fair game)
* The dishwasher! (the best distraction ever and I will crawl across the flat if I hear it opening)
