2 YEARS!

The Dom in Cologne

2 Years ago today we arrived in Cologne! Our plane landed, we rented a car with our mapquest directions and managed to find our flat. After we got the keys and unpacked our bags we took a nap.  So much has happened since we woke up...it doesn't always seem real.  As Chad and I talk, we had no idea all that would happen when we started out on this adventure.  

We are lucky that we have been able to do and see so much!  It hasn't always been easy and we have learned a lot about ourselves as well as the places we have visited.  We have met some wonderful people and are so thankful that we have been able to have the opportunity to have had this experience.  We also have found comfort in our lifestyle here (it is so different than in the US).  We will continue to make the most of our time in Europe as the end will be here before we know it.

Here are some things we thought about:

*  2 Little German boys

*  2 Flats

*  19 Countries Visited

*  4 Continents Visited

*  3 trips home to the US

*  Many visits from our friends and family (thank you for making the trip)

The bags we took on the plane...oh we have so much stuff...
