Jack sleeping from 9-5:30!!!
We've had a two good nights in a row for Jack's sleeping patterns. I must say we have a happy little guy on our hands. He does cry, but it is if he is hungry or ready to be wrapped up and put to bed. It is almost like the blanket is magic and once he is bundled up his eyes close. He's also very good at sleeping through his brother playing and singing.
Jack Rolled over!
He did it twice from his tummy to his back. Will watched the first time and and then clapped for him the second time. The little
Will and the Potty Chair!
He did it again! He used the potty chair before his bath. We're not trying to potty train yet because we'll be doing some big trips this spring and once we return we'll start. I think he's going to be pretty easy to train because at this rate he enjoys sitting on the chair and the M&M I gave him once he was done. My bigger problem is going to be having him let me clean out the chair instead of him. Once he was done he immediately picked up the chair and tried to dump the liquid into the toliet...almost a big mess. He did however grab some toilet paper and dry the chair out. My little cleaner!
Craft time
Will and I are trying to do one craft every week. We have letter day, number day, color day, and animal days every week and now I'm adding a craft day. Yes, this is as much for me to have a routine than anything else. Well this week we made a bird feeder from a toilet paper roll. Will enjoyed the peanut butter and also tried the bird seed, he was not a fan!
Asparagus
You know you've been in Germany too long when you get as excited as the Germans do for Asparagus to be in season. YEAH! We have white and green in the stores and it is about 3.99EUR for a bunch. Love this time of year. And a shout out to Anna for a great White asparagus recipe.
iTouch
The best purchase I made before we left the US was my iTouch. It is my TV, my source for news updates, my radio, my e-mail, and a great entertainment tool for Will. I am beginning to think there is really an App for almost anything. As I was listening the radio the other day, I was again reminded how much I use this little piece of technology.
