Roma with M&D

November 15th-19th

When Mom and Dad were visiting we got great airfare to Rome.  I LOVE Europe's airlines!  We spent about 5 days in Rome and were able to see a lot of the city, eat a lot of Gelato, enjoy some good house red wines, and eat Italian food! Chad had to remain back in Cologne and was busy working. :(

This was Jack's 1st trip to Rome and Vatican City and he was able to visit 12 countries in his 1st 12 months!

We have several great stories from the trip that now we can laugh about:
*Car ride to flat (getting lost and Jack throwing up because of the turns and bumps)
*Dad ordering too much food (he can tell the story)
*Will singing in the rain
*Shopping
*Hop On Hop Off Tour
*Pizza Pizza Pizza
*House Wine

It was nice to share the experience in Rome with my parents and it was a city that I enjoyed returning to and seeing.  It was also nice that the city was familiar and I remembered my way around from our first trip on Will's 1st Birthday with Kelly & Jim.  I would also say November was a wonderful time to visit as the crowds were small and it was easy to find a place to eat.
