70s and warm week!

Warm Weather
It's been in the upper 70s and maybe low 80s this week and VERY sunny! It's been so nice to be outside and it's a bit warm in the bedroom of our flat because the sun shines in for so long.  But we won't complain because the sun is much better than the April rain.

Chad's Busy Work Week
Chad has had a busy work week! He worked on Monday, traveled to Brussels until last night and returned back with some others from PWC last night for dinner. I'd like to think it was to have dinner with me but the client had to cancel so I got to tag along. It was very nice to have dinner with people from home and I think we both felt like we knew the city a bit better than when we arrived. At least it appeared that way when we were talking I was impressed with what we knew.

He left early this morning for Bratislava and will return tomorrow night.  He's off to Geneva, Switzerland next week. I'm a bit jealous that I can't go on that trip.  He has been working hard and I think he's looking forward to the weekend.

Kelly's Hair & Another Doctor
My productive week included walking down the street and getting my hair highlighted! Now, usually I am confusing when I explain highlights and low lights and what my vision is for what I want my hair to look like (at the end of the day I really just trust the people doing my hair). Well, you can imagine my sense of accomplishment when I was able to explain this to them in English/German (using my dictionary) and it turned out! I was so happy and proud.

I was also able to find a pediatrician this week! He's very nice, speaks English, and is literally less than 3 blocks from the house.  If I end up leaving the hospital after only 3 days (which I might if I get bored) he'll come to the house on day 4 for the baby check-up even.   He was very informative and it seems very structured for appointments and vaccinations.

Sorry no pictures!
