Phone today...Internet soon!

Our Phone!
T-kom came yesterday and it took them less than 10 minutes to do what they needed to give us phone service. We need to wait until we can confirm that we have the right plan to call the US and hopefully by the end of the week or early next week we'll have internet as well.  This is all good news and I was able to navigate our phone to make it read in English.

We're not going to have voicemail, but that is OK. It has been a long time since we've had a landline so it's a bit strange, but we are excited.  We also need to learn about the different costs because you pay for all outgoing calls separately. To call a cell phone costs (so we'll need to use a discount code) but to call a landline in the area is free.  But we have a phone!!!

Just when you think you've figured it out...
I got a bit over confident at the grocery store and bought grapes. Grapes are grapes right! Well, sure they are the same as in the US and some grapes in the US have seeds. Guess what...they do in Germany too and if you don't look for the word for seeds and just by some they might have seeds. Silly me!

I heard that if you swallow the seed, it will later grow in your stomach
