M&D Visit!

Kelly and Will to Edinburgh, Scotland

Chad was busy with work so Will and I traveled to Edinburgh, Scotland to meet my parents and friends Jean and Paul for a long weekend.  Will and I traveled by ourselves on the plane and he was EXCELLENT!  He's such a good traveler!  When we got on the plane he looked out the window and pointed at the planes, trucks and buses. Once we started our take off he grabbed his Bob the Builder Pillow leaned back and fell asleep. He knows the drill!  

Once we arrived, we took a cab to our flat that was close to the main city center and Will and I shopped because of the great Euro to British Pound exchange rate. I can't say how much fun it was going into a Gap again.  We also enjoyed the warm, dry weather on Friday and Saturday.  :)  

We spent some time Sunday shopping on the Royal Mile and went to mass.  Will clapped for the choir after every song and enjoyed looking around the old church.  We enjoyed Scotland and will have to go back again!

Will's Entertainment

Will had some added entertainment on the flight back to Cologne.  My parents both had their iTouches and Will was in heaven! He also got to move around more than on the first flight to Scotland.  He enjoyed the time with Grandma and Grandpa and there were so many giggles, upside down Will time, and he played for hours with the new matchbox cars Grandma brought.

Welcome to Cologne Paul and Jean!

Paul and Jean and my parents spent about 2 weeks traveling in Europe.  It was Paul and Jean's first trip and they saw a lot and visited Germany, France, Austria, Scotland and drove through Luxembourg and Belgium.  They walked a ton and saw major sites. I can say they definitely made the most of their time.  We took them to a brew house in Germany for some authentic German food!

Paris...Chad works...we see the sites!

We all went with Chad to Paris for a few days. He had meetings and we walked around the city and visited the sites.  We saw the Arc De Triumph, Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower, went into the Louve and walked up and down the Champs.  Chad deserves mad props for driving on the large round about by the Arc De Triumph. CRAZY French Drivers!

Did we say Will is Spoiled?

Will got to ride on the Carousel near the Eiffel Tower, not because he asked but because my Mom wanted him to go on it. Well, she was right and he LOVED every moment of it! He was all smiles and giggles and waved to everyone as he went around and around.  There was even a photographer taking pictures of a bride and groom and snapped his picture. The smile was too cute to pass up!

We had a great time with our visitors and were so glad they were able to spend time with us!  Will is going to be bored now that everyone is gone.  It is nice however knowing my parents will be back in February for Carnival!
