The Move

We are preparing for our move on Friday to our new flat about 6 blocks away. We've been packing and sorting and cleaning and now are just waiting for Friday when we can start the moving process. Thanks to Anna and Martin who are coming in the evening to help.

We love our neighborhood and the proximity to the airport and Chad's office and needed 2 bedrooms. It is time for the little guy to have his own space. So will gets a new flat, new room, and new bed all this weekend. He can climb/scale out of the crib we have and I don't want him to fall on his head. It will be a big weekend for the little guy and for us.

We are excited for the move but sad because we really enjoy our current flat, neighbors and landlord.

Also worth noting is that with the move comes the uncertainty of phone and internet again. We're hoping for the best and it all transfers on Friday, but planning for the worst and it could be several weeks before we are connected to the outside world again. Chad is always reachable via e-mail (thanks to his blackberry). :)
